The Immaculate Conception School of Revere, Massachusetts opened on September 9, 1913 with Father Lee as pastor and four Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston as teachers. Sister Mary Regina was named as Mother Superior. The sisters lived in the old rectory that had been moved to the corner of Beach Street and Winthrop Avenue. The school was opened with grades one through four and a grade was added each year until the expansion to eight grades was completed. Initial enrollment was 230 pupils. The first grammar school class graduated in June, 1918. Now Immaculate Conception School would like to invite you and your family to become part of the IC Community! As you visit our website, we hope our Admissions page provides you with the information you need to learn more about what IC has to offer. Here at Immaculate Conception, we believe students are challenged academically by our faculty, and will receive the support they need in order to succeed. We believe that our extracurricular activities and athletic programs allow students to grow outside the classroom. We also strongly believe that the IC experience will prepare your student to succeed in college and beyond- in short, to become adults who make a difference in the community.
We invite you to contact us with any questions you may have, either by phone at (781) 284-0519, email at Michele.firstname.lastname@example.org or in person by dropping by the Office. As always, we’re here to help you!
I look forward to meeting you and your family!Best wishes,
Director of Admissions
