IMMACULATE CONCEPTION VETERANS DAY ASSEMBLY
Posted on: November 17th, 2017
This morning the Revere Police Honor Guard graced us with their presence during a very moving Flag Ceremony, honoring our military veterans. Mr Murchie, our Middle School Social Studies teacher shared some of his experience as an Army Lieutenant during the Gulf War. Also, Ms. Roan, our Middle School ELA Teacher shared some of her experience growing up in a military family. Another special guest was Mr. Matthew Hanley, our principal's brother, who served the United States in the Coast Guard during the Vietnam War. Special mention also goes to April Ferguson and Arianna Summa, who sang the national anthem, and to Steven Joseph, who led the school in the Battle Hymn of the Republic.
