The primary mission
of the Immaculate Conception School is to educate our students to become
compassionate, caring members of society, possessing a deep faith in God who
will guide them in their decision-making in the years to come. The pursuit of
excellence in the classroom is accomplished thorough a dedicated faculty, the
integration of technology into the curriculum via the newly renovated computer
lab, and the enrichment of academics through the art, music, and library skills
programs. The combination of the spiritual and the academic ensures that this
school, following the tradition of quality education which has been the hallmark
of the Immaculate Conception School for the past 93 years, will continue to
prepare the students for any challenges that they will face in the new
millennium.
This school considers it an honor and a privilege to teach
the values of character, integrity, service, and respect to the children of the
community. Realizing that it is a sacrifice and a choice of parents to send
their children to our parish school, we are ever mindful of the responsibility
entrusted by them to us. We pledge in the future to continue to promote the
following:
Faith Centered Life: As a catholic school, we
obligate ourselves to teach our children our religious beliefs in order that
students may eventually contribute to society in thought, word, and action as
witnesses to the teachings of Christ.
High Standards of Academic
Excellence: The school, while providing a solid foundation for future
educational and life experiences, will continue to offer quality academic
instruction to assist all students in realizing their fullest
potential.
Discipline and Respect: Emphasis on mannerisms in
actions, words, and deeds needed to operate in a civilized society is provided
to the children.
Uniformed Dress Code: This concept provides for a
tranquil environment where all children are equal and can concentrate on
learning rather than clothing distractions.
Community Pride: The
school strives to instill in each child the idea that in giving you shall
receive. Giving back to the community helps develop strong bonds and a sense of
who our children are and what they would like to be. To whom much has been given
much is expected.
By putting our faith in God, we will secure a strong
future for the Immaculate Conception School and continue to be a viable presence
in the new century.
